The Polk County Museum invites you to
one of our free public programs on Saturday November16, 2013 1:30PM.
Mark Stevens, who is
active in keeping the history of Polk County alive, will be presenting an
examination of how the Civil War affected the county. He will look at the Civil War military presence in the
county, the soldier’s life during that time and the legacy we still have today
from that history.
The event is free and we will have
light refreshments available.
The Polk County Museum is located at
560 S. Pacific Hwy, Rickreall on the south end of the Polk County Fair Grounds
parking lot…look for the wagon train mural.
