The Polk County Historical Society of Polk County, Oregon, invites you to visit the Polk County Museum.

  • Explore our unique historic map that locates the nearly 600 claims of the Donation Land Act (Homesteads) in Polk County, Oregon. 
  • Learn more about the Kalapuya native tribe that occupied Polk County, Oregon.
  • Enjoy exhibits of agriculture and logging.
  • We have 28 town site exhibits that were in Polk County Oregon at one time.
  • We have many artifacts, physical, pictorial and written from an the era of 1842 to 1943.
  • The Museum is a non-profit organization, funded entirely by memberships, donations and fundraisers.

POLK COUNTY MUSEUM ANNOUNCES PROGRAM FOR JUNE

June 15, 2013   1:30 p.m.

Polk Co. Historical Society’s version of “Antiques Appraisals Show.” Several local experts will be here to give appraisals of your vintage and antique items.  This is a fund-raiser for the PCHS, so a small fee will be charged for each item appraised.

July 20, 2013   9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Upscale Porch Sale”


Programs are Free to the Public.
Refreshments will be served after the program.
